The Nike Women's ZoomX Zegma Trail 2 now uses much the same pinnacle technology as Nikes elite race shoe the Ultrafly, minus the carbon plate, but with a slightly more robust build designed less for pure speed and more for the thrill of the trail, the Zegma makes a great cushioned daily runner as well as having the pace for race day. ZoomX foam through the midsole has increased stack heights from the original for more lightweight cushioning, and more power over the trails. An engineered mesh upper provides the extra strength needed for stability over uneven terrain, while an ankle gaiter helps keep debris on the outside. Overlays across the toe increase durability.
